Terms of use
The rules for using this website. Short, because the site is a window onto our work rather than a shop.
About these terms
This website is run by Operations &bold. Ltd, trading as HAIKUU, Block A, Level 1, Halmann Business Centre, Mosta Road, Lija LJA 2021, Malta. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Work we do for clients is governed by a separate written agreement, never by these terms.
Copyright and trade marks
© 2026 Operations &bold. Ltd. All rights reserved. The text, films, illustrations, masks, interface designs, code and the HAIKUU name and eyes on this site belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, republish, sell, frame, scrape or use any of it, including to train machine-learning models, without our written permission.
Client names, logos and brand assets shown in our case studies belong to their owners and appear with their permission to illustrate our work. Their appearance does not mean that any client endorses anything beyond the project shown.
Previews of client work
Some projects are shown as previews or recordings of private presentations. They show the work as it was at the time and may differ from what was finally built or launched. Live client websites are run by their owners, not by us.
Information only
Articles in our journal and other content on the site are general information, written in good faith. They are not professional advice for your situation. Prices, timelines and approaches we describe are examples and are not offers.
Enquiries are not contracts
Sending us a brief does not create an agreement. A project starts only when both sides sign a proposal or engagement letter. Ideas you share with us in an enquiry are treated in confidence.
Using the site properly
Please do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, introduce malicious code, or use it for anything unlawful. We may restrict access if someone does.
No warranty
We work hard to keep the site accurate, available and safe, but we provide it “as is”. We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Maltese or EU law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Links to other sites
We link to websites we do not control, including our clients’ sites. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
Reporting a problem or an infringement
If you believe something on this site infringes your rights or is unlawful, write to hello@haikuu.com with the page address, what you believe is wrong and why, and how to reach you. We review every notice promptly and act where it is justified.
Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, which applies from the moment it is published.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. The courts of Malta have jurisdiction, without taking away any rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
