Junior Eurovision Song Contest · Malta 2026

More than a Maltese look.

The identity began with a simple question: what can Malta bring to Junior Eurovision beyond a visual theme? Rather than decorating the contest with familiar symbols of the island, we looked at how Malta gathers, prepares, celebrates and welcomes.

That led to its most distinctive tradition, the festa. A festa transforms an ordinary street through music, colour and light, built over a year by a community and shared with everyone who arrives. It is not something people watch. It is something they become part of.

We created the concept, the identity and the colours, inside the organisers’ guidelines, in seven days.

The Maltese festa

Two worlds. One shared spirit.

01

From festa to identity

Every part of a festa does a job in the street. Each one became a part of the system. The paper festa is from the reveal film.

03

One family of marks

Each mark has a role, so the system can move from an accreditation pass to the most expressive moment of the show. Choose by purpose, not preference.

  1. 01

    Official Logo

The clearest, most authoritative identifier of the contest, wherever recognition and official ownership come first.

Official communication · Press · Accreditation · Partners

  2. 02

    Host Identity

The official logo inside a pavaljun: the structure of the Maltese festa column, carrying the Junior Eurovision mark into the festa world.

Venue branding · City dressing · Event graphics · Social

  3. 03

    United by Music

Eurovision’s central message, hand-lettered inside the same arch: the expressive mark for the moments music and togetherness take the stage.

Hero graphics · Key visuals · Large format · Selected merchandise

  4. 04

    Chameleon Heart

The most adaptable element in the system: the form stays, while its colour and content change for every country, artist and moment.

Country moments · Artist stories · Transitions · Motion

04

One form. Many expressions.

The outer heart never changes. The world inside it does: colour, pattern, imagery and story, so every country, artist and moment gets its own heart within one family.

05

Navy, and the colours of the festa

A deep navy holds everything together, the way night holds a festa street; the festa palette does the celebrating. Expressive when it can be, clear when it needs to be.

06

Made to move

The festa is never still, so neither is the identity: the marks draw themselves, the motifs burst like fireworks, and the arena becomes a festa street for the night.
