Brand identityBoutique guesthouse, Rabat

A retreat shaped by the night.

Lejla is a boutique retreat in the historic heart of Rabat, and its identity takes its cue from twilight: a hand-drawn logotype that echoes carving in stone, under a constellation mark, signed Boutique Living.

Twelve hand-drawn icons, from an Orion cluster and a threshold star to a ritual spiral, give it a Neolithic sensibility: a language for finding your way by the night sky.

Deep brown, dark navy, sand and gold sit on stone, plaster, aged metal and uncoated, tactile paper, with metallic foil used sparingly. Its personality in three words: bold, quiet, elemental. Even the door hanger keeps the tone, asking in Maltese for “Tgawdija tas-Silenzju”, the enjoyment of silence.

Shown here as the concept presentation, from the projecting sign to key cards, menus, uniforms and the booking site.
